Our classes are made up of 6-12 children and their adult caregivers. All classes are for mixed age family groups. (Why mixed ages? Read the FAQs to find out.)

Each week we explore the songs and chants in the semester's song collection. A dozen musical experiences are included in each class, which incorporate fun, playful, and interactive ways to focus on tonal and rhythmic elements of music. Instruction is informal; children may or may not participate as they choose and do so according to their developmental level.

The emphasis is on the caregiver/child relationship. Our teachers help adults understand how to participate, regardless of their musical ability, and the importance of relaxing and enjoying the activities with their children. Parent education during class will help parents understand the relevance of class activities to each child's musical development and how to continue that development at home.

Our fall session runs for 10 weeks. The cost is $210 for one child and $135 for siblings. Siblings younger than one year attend for free. New families please add a one-time registration fee of $10.

The price includes a professionally produced CD and digital downloads, a beautifully illustrated songbook, online access to Music Together's Family Music Zone featuring music, videos and more, and our easy-to-use Hello Everybody app with lots of resources for music-making ideas to try at home.
